Bible Question (short): Difference of God |
Question (full): I have noticed a difference in God's mood between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Is there a reason for this? In the OT, God seems to be like a parent, teaching and scolding. In the NT, God seems to be more passive. Also, is there any relation between the difference and parenting. When children are growing up, we teach them, scold them, and reward them. When they are adults we know that they are grown up, and they must make their own decisions. |
