dear one, it has to be possible to overcome sin, or else the charge to repent would be meanongless. further, if one is "always abounding in the work of the Lord", there is no time for sin. after a certain point in ones understanding the Lords abhorrance of sin should lead one to prize obediance to His Word and word more than the pleasures of sin. dasev | ||||||

dear joe, possible to overcome sin. i am to the extent of my divinely blessed efforts to repent not the habitiual sinner i was before salvation. yes i still sin even willfully at times but it is with greater awareness of sins wages and with a shame i did not know when i was unsaved. | ||||||
