1 | why create us as sinful creatures? | Rom 7:7 | hobbs | 168764
An essential element of understanding scripture is humility. It is not primarily about us. It is about God! Is 43:5 "Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, And gather you from the west. Is 43:6 "I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' And to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring My sons from afar And My daughters from the ends of the earth, Is 43:7 Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made." Rev 4:11 "Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created." We are His creatures and we were created to glorify Him. His plan included the salvation of sinful people, so that He would be praised for His mercy. John |

2 | why create us as sinful creatures? | Rom 7:7 | calmira | 168769
I am not sure where "humility" falls into my question. I am looking to *understand* in order that i may give an informed answer when asked. If, like you said,"His plan included the salvation of sinful people, so that He would be praised for His mercy", this suggests that we were created "sinful" or with a sinful nature from the beggining. I don't seem to comprehend this concept very well and, so far, no clear consice answer has risen.
