1 | When were disciples born again? | John 3:11 | kalos | 156776
"if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His" For by [means of the personal agency of] one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, baptized [and by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit. (AMPLIFIED) 1 Corinthians 12:13 Being baptized by [in, with] the Holy Spirit most certainly does not precede salvation. It is not necessary for salvation. It is impossible for a person to baptized into the body of Christ before salvation. Nor is it a separate event that comes afterwards. The Bible says: But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God]. [Rom. 8:14.] (AMPLIFIED) Romans 8:9 Grace to you, Kalos |

2 | When were disciples born again? | John 3:11 | Bows44 | 156798
Hi Kalos, I'm sorry, but this statement seems to be a bit contradictory. Please clarify. Being baptized by [in, with] the Holy Spirit most certainly does not precede salvation. It is not necessary for salvation. It is impossible for a person to baptized into the body of Christ before salvation. Nor is it a separate event that comes afterwards. Thanks, Bows44 |
