Well said, brother WOS... Sometimes we get taken to task for the use of the word "only." As you wrote, "Water Baptism is only an outward symbol." You are stating very clearly and correctly that there is nothing salvific in water Baptism. Thank you Doc. You are absolutely correct. I stopped short trying to prove a point in which it does appear that I didn’t show the importance of water Baptism. It wasn’t my intent to lessen the importance of following our Lord’s commands. Thank you for pointing that out. I’m so very thankful for you, and others that are around, that help keep me straight.
