Tim Can you explain to me who Jesus set's at the right hand of His Father when their is only ONE GOD? Either, Jesus is God or His Father is! And since there is only ONE GOD, and you say God is Jesus then who is the Father? |

Greetings Rferg! I notice that Robert has already addressed your question, but allow me to add a couple of points. Christians believe that God is omnipresent. Therefore, He is everywhere at every moment. How can that be? Christians believe that God is not bound by time. Therefore, He is at every point of time at every moment. How can that be? This is an important point for your question. Is God only partially present at every point in space and every moment in time? Or, is God fully present at every point in space and every moment in time? If the latter is true, and I believe Scripture proclaims that it is, then why would it be difficult to believe that God the Father can sit next to God the Son? Of course, this is assuming that the phrase literally refers to a seating arrangement and isn't simply a figure of speech describing their mutual relationship and authority. The doctrine of the Trinity does not teach that there are three Gods, but only one. It does however teach that there are three distinct Persons within the Godhead - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Any doctrine, or attempt to explain a doctrine, which makes the Three into three Gods or denies that each is fully God is unbiblical. Well, I have to get to bed now! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
