The Sabbath. The 7th day advents DO NOT hold true to the sabbath. They worship on the sabbath, in so doing they must first drive to church. That is a no no according to sabbath law. Because you must have policeman working so you get there safe. The gas stations must also stay open so you don't run out of gas. Also your church has electricty which means someone has got to run it. If you make a meal to eat on the sabbath that to is wrong. The list goes on. It doesn't bother me if you worship on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Should worship daily. And think about this 8 in the bible is always a new begging. You put all of the Names of Jesus, such as Son of Man ect. will always be divisable by 8. Jesus is the new beginning Sunday is the new beginng of the week. The reason why most Christians go to church on Sundays is that reason also the scriptures I gave you before. Its not saying that worshipping on Saturdays is wrong or any other day. But people who claim that we don't hold to the sabbath and for that reason we are wrong. neither do the advents or any other group who worships on Saturdays. Also if you read the actual Sabbath law you will see it states clearly. Ex 31:16 'So the SONS OF ISRAEL shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.' (emp. added) In Christ, Darcy |

You're absolutely right, Darcy -- After much painstaking research, I can tell you for a fact that no ancient Israelite ever drove his automobile on the Sabbath, no, not one. :-) Conclusion: Modern seventh-dayers really should hoof it to church! --Hank | ||||||

Are you sure hank I thought Henry Ford was with Moses. Man doesn't get lost walking we always get lost driving. They stopped into about 3 gas stations a day thats about 43, 200 gas stations take away the sabbaths. Not once did they ask for directions :) Joshua finnally found the promise land. The reason for this was is because They were driving a FORD it had to break down sooner or later. So Jousha had to walk and he wasn't lost anymore :) And Notice he never once asked for direction. Its a lot like us today we might not ask for directions but we will always make it there it just takes time. In Christ, Darcy |
