1 | Again, was Adam there? (Part II) | Gen 3:6 | Makarios | 27988
Greetings hgwill! I tend to agree with Emmaus, in saying that Adam was present with Eve at this scene. However, regardless if Adam was there or not, I believe that he willingly and knowingly (knowing the consequences of his action) took part of the sin and ate the forbidden fruit. Whether or not he was the first one to do it is besides the point- he did it, just like his wife did, and he was therefore the first man to sin. Blessings to you, Nolan |

2 | Again, was Adam there? (Part II) | Gen 3:6 | Searcher56 | 27996
Scripture ... Genesis 3:6, Romans 5:12 ... Merry CHRISTmas ... I, too, think he was there. -there is no apparent time delay -she apparently doesn't have to say anything about about the food of the tree -he apparently didn't ask anything It wasn't her act that caused sin to enter the world ... it was his fault. 3 | Again, was Adam there? (Part II) | Gen 3:6 | Makarios | 28035
Thank you Searcher56, I agree with you, and Merry Christmas to you as well! Eve may have been the first one to actually fall to the temptation (by being the first to eat of the fruit), but I believe that Adam was right there with her, in full knowledge of everything that was happening. Blessings to you, Nolan |
