Subject: What was reason for the virgin birth? |
Bible Note: Carefully read the question and regard the answer with care, Human Nature became sin nature after the fall of Adam. My Human Nature and my Sin Nature are one and the same. Mary imparted Human Nature, the Holy Spirit imparted God's Nature. Jesus' Human Nature is separate from any Sin Nature. I love the reference to Adam, in an earlier note, who had a nature that could be tempted, his Human Nature. He had a Sin Nature after he accepted the temptation. The Bible says '(Jesus) who had no sin..' for a very good reason. If Jesus was only God in human form then he could never sin and what would be the point of His life? Jesus was fully God and Fully man, He was just as capable of sin as any person, indeed tempted to turn from God and serve the devil, and yet maintained His sinlessness through the power of God. |
