Furthermore, based on your line of reasoning, I might as well ask, why depend on what the Lord says about Satan's doctrines when you can hear them from Devil himself? Sounds silly, doesn't it? You see, Jesus himself had Scriptural, creedal, prophetic, historic, and divine validation. There is only one certain, infallible, inerrant, necessary, and sufficient source of sound doctrine, and that is the Scriptures themselves.
