Subject: How do I forgive adultry if it continues |
Bible Note: Greetings TJS Interesting response but what do you mean by the following, “I have sought to correct my behavior.” Does God actually forgive us on the basis of our trying to correct our behavior and if so where does Christ fit into that picture? Do you think you will be accepted into heaven on the basis of your trying to doing better; how good is good enough? Are your sins more refined then the sins of others? There is only one sin that condemns one to an eternal condemnation. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 20:30-31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Where do you stand in relation to the previous verses? Have a nice day, CDBJ |
