Subject: What? |
Bible Note: Yes the King has a redeemer. Do you even know what redeemer means in the Hebrew? And? the "And" connects the Lord the King of Israel" with his redeemer "the Lord of hosts". These are two persons (two persons from the Trinity). It might help you to see it like that: Thus saith "one person", and "that person's" redeemer "another separate person"; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Is not Jesus "Lord the King of Israel"? Isn't his redeemer (which means family member) his own Father who is called "the Lord of Hosts"? Do you not believe the Father and the Son, along with the Holy Spirit) comprise the ONE GOD of Christianity and the Bible? Is it so shocking to see them mentioned in the OT? |
