Subject: dreams and visions not scriptural? |
Bible Note: Greetings and reference to your take on l Cor. 13:10, Your logic seems realistic enough, looking at the verse from an English translation but the Koine Greek spells it quite differently. 1 Cor. 13:10 (KJV)(A) English But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 1 Cor. 13:10 (KOINE GREEK) (A) When (HOTEN) but (DE) comes (ELTHE) the (TO) completion (TELEION) The word translated as perfect in the English is from the base word (TELEIOS) (Adjective) pronominal, or having the function of a pronoun. In the nominative case, i.e. designating, of, or in the case of the subject of a finite verb. It is in the neuter gender; Jesus Christ is masculine gender not neuter gender., singular person It all points to the completed Cannon of Scripture which was to come later after Paul spoke these words and being finished with the book of Revelation by the apostle John.
