Subject: Why do we delay baptism, not His Supper? |
Bible Note: God's day to you, Justme, Communion should be open to all believers, after they examine themselves (1Co 11:23ff). Nowhere in Scripture is the qualification of being baptized first. Questions for you as you study ... -Are believers part of the body of believers the moment they are saved? -Are believers part of the body of Christ the moment they are saved? -Are believers by the Spirit the moment they are saved? ... if we cannot answer yes toeach one, are new believers second class until they do something or reach a certain understanding? No one has ever given me a solid Biblical answer to wait for external baptism. No one has an answer about the book of Acts, where six of the seven conversion experiences the believers were baptized the same day believed, ... and why we we wait. The exception was Paul. Searcher |
