Subject: can we get baptized twice |
Bible Note: Hi BobbyF, I think the shortest answer to your question would be the prerequisite for water baptism which doesn’t imply infants or adults but a personal understanding of the person and work of Jesus the Christ. Acts 8:36-37 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? [37] And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The Scripture doesn’t expatiate on the age for baptism but the ability to comprehend exactly who Jesus is and what he did as the Messiah. Have a great day, CDBJ |
