Subject: A Thought-provoking question |
Bible Note: He most definately is. He sais: "Be Holy, for I AM Holy",(1 Peter 1:16). If you deny this, you are calling God a liar to His Face. You are guilty of blasphemy, in essence. The previous answerer said that the "only sin He ever committed was on the cross". That is not true becuase God TOOK the sins of the world onto Himself, He did not commit them. To answer the question, God killed many people in the Old and some in the New Testament because He is a just God. We love hearing how loving God is, and that is true, but we must understand that God is also just and righteous. Also, He did it to further His plan, to bring His people into the promised land. This would ultimately lead to the birth of the Messiah. It is true that He is perfect in His Will, and he does whatever He pleases. Check it out at Romans 9:13-24. That is the complete, and real answer!!! The Grace of the Lord Be With You. |
