Bible Note: Hello brother Edwin, It is good as always to hear back from you. And thank you for your email. In response I have something I would like to share with the forum. This is not in response to the post it is attached, I am simply jumping in to one of your resent posts, if you please. You wrote; ***** "Hi Mark. Thank you for your kind words, it's great to have fellowship with you once more. but please dear brother don't put the cart before the horse. We were not dead in sins, before we were in Christ, but we were in Christ before we were dead in sins. You and I and all other people are inside the "Space Time Continuum", a creation of the Lord superimposed upon Eternity. Eternity is timelessness, and it is in Eternity that God the Father placed us in His Son before the beginning of time, however, we do not come into existence until after time was created (but He knew that we would exist). We were dead in sins at the point of our conception onwards, (see Psalm 51:5), and remained so until we were saved, after which we discover that we have been "in Christ" from before the foundation of the earth" ****** I think I do see, as well as one stuck in this thing that we humans call time can see, that is. It reminds me of a time not long after I was given the gift of God. And filled with the Spirit, I was joyfully building a retaining wall on my property, using rocks that are extremely numerous here. And I was singing praises, feeling very grateful that He had given to me all these wonderful free rocks for my project. And it dawned on me, that in the years past, before I knew God in the way that I now knew Him, I used to damn those very same rocks, as they were rough angular inordinately heavy and so very hard to handle. But now, I could see that because of their angular shape, rough surface and heaviness, they allowed me to build a strong durable wall, and without the need of any cement mortar. And I thought that God In His wonderful knowledge and wisdom of all things past present and future, knew even before He laid the foundation of the earth, and before these very rocks were made, because as far back as we can imagine, if we go there, we will meet Him coming toward us out of eternity. And that farther back then my limited puny human mind could ever imagine, He already knew me, and He knew that some glorious day, when the angels in heaven would sing in awesome wonder of His glorious mercy and grace, that I was created to be the kind of man that would believe God, and live. And I somehow knew these rocks were created just for me, and although I once damned them, I now was only grateful to God for everything, because he created the world and us puny little humans for His good pleasure, and that we as Christians can also be grateful that it pleases Him to please us, for we are His children. Alleluia! Glory to God in the highest! God bless. John |
