Subject: Go to heaven or hell? |
Bible Note: Hi Ardmore, You made the statement previously that the population of the Earth, since man was created, is up close to fifty billion which seems way too high to me. Someone quoted a figure, and I don’t remember who it was, that over half the number of people that have ever lived on Earth are still alive today. I don’t know if you have a frame of reference for the figure “1 billion” but a man can’t live long enough to count to 1 billion; there aren’t enough hours in a day considering that one has to eat and sleep. It doesn’t t take all that many people for a person not to be able to count that high. I appreciate your answering part of my post, but it seems like you are avoiding the big question! Again: Have you come to the point yet, in your spiritual experience, where you can say “for certain” that you have eternal life credited to your account; is heaven a sure thing from your perspective? Forget the billions for a minute and tell us what your personal position is amongst all those numbers. i.e. where do you stand? Matthew 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. [15] Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Do you have the light yet, CDBJ |
