Subject: Pledge, "under God", WWJD? |
Bible Note: Greetings Mitelt! Thanks for the FYI! May I just add to your comments that the constitution does not actually say that the government has to be neutral or that it cannot mention God at all. It simply says that congress cannot pass any law respecting the establishment of religion. It cannot say that all Americans must be baptist, or lutheran, or nazarenes. Americans are to be free to worship who and how we want. Yet, the rights of our constitution come from God. Our nation was founded as a Christian nation. Our history is filled with men and women of faith, publically proclaiming their faith. It is a sad day when the constitution written by these same people is then used to stop the free exercise of our faith. Excellent material my friend! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
