Subject: How do you evangelize someone who |
Bible Note: Hi EdB- I had a whole answer written out and "poof" it disappeared off the screen. Let me try it again... First, I really liked your answer to the original question and I wholeheartedly agree that a personal testimony about Christ in your own life can be extrememly powerful. What a blessing that you have the opportunity to share that everyday! I have been in the situation where I have tried to share the gospel with someone who does not believe the Bible is the Word of God. I wish I could say that I had a perfect answer to give that would open their eyes but I don't. I do my best to share what I believe, why I believe it, and how Christ has moved in my life. After that, I pray for them and trust that salvation is His work. I also have the opportunity each week to counsel women in unplanned pregnancies. Most are not Christian. In a counseling situation, after developing a relationship and focusing on her needs and issues, God often provides opportunities to discuss spiritual issues. It's always His prompting and timing for evangelism. These are just a couple of examples since you asked me how I would do it. Certainly, there are too many situations to explicitly go into and many many ways to reflect Christ's love to others. By the way, I'll let John Reformed handle his own responses from now on:) Figgy |
