My name is George, I am married with children, three young ladies. I came to know Jesus as my Salvation in March-April of 1980. Nothing dramatic, I realized that He gave His life for me and was buried because He really was dead. But rose from the dead the third day, revealing that death had no power over Him and the commandment that He recieved from His Father. (Just like He said)
I started out on fire but fell to the side when I began to face life's problems without really knowing how to walk by the Word. So for twelve years I was no use for the kingdom, but God was still teaching me and showing me mercy though I was going further and futher away from Him. In 1996, God pulled the scales off of my eyes after setting me up to be able to see...How much He loved me in spite of me. And I since then make effort to follow God's Word. Hence the reason for getting on this forum, though I do more reading it than participating in it for now. I appreicate your answers, your prayers, and you can email me for futher discussion of questions if you like at: g3ills@yahoo.com. I am not a scholar or a pastor but a layman. So have a litte mercy if I am off the mark, but by all means correct me.
