Subject: Why the long threads on sexual topics? |
Bible Note: Edb: Good to hear from you. I am reninded of Romans 14:22. When we approve of anything we risk our testimony. I personally would rather remain silent than even enter into such a subject. I am of the opinion that there are boundaries between men and women that need respect, and are improper and impolite to dialogue with mixed sexes. The sacredness of each persons sexuality is no longer seen as a subject that is off limits to the general public at large. There times that certian subjects should best addressed and answered by someone of the same sex. I personally think men should counsel with men, and women with women. Sexual subjects would be better answered by persons with Godly wisdom, and of the same sex. I know this may seem far out, but it is just an old man's idea. I do not think my theology or or treatment of women is anything but respectfull, and liberating. I am just stating what I personally an convicted is the Biblical perspective of Scripture, I believe is best, for me. Perhaps some might consider my views to unrealistic. I believe in a high respect for women and men and appreciation for the differences that we bring as co-partners in Christ and His body. Blessings. justme |
