Bible Question: who named the angels ie gabriel, michael etc. |
Bible Answer: Luke 1:26 "In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town is Galilee" Revelation 12:7 "And there was a great war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back" Gabriel's name comes from the Bible and not from human tradtition. So does Michael. Usually, Gabriel serves as a messenger whenever he is mentioned. Michael seems to be a general of some sort, but that's only my opinion. Hope this helps, God bless Jo |
