Bible Question:
Hi CDBJ, Thanks for your prompt response and I must say that you have done wellas anticipated, with the first 3 questions. But you were rather evasive with the following 2 questions you originally set for me,It would be very educational,if you were to provide answears in the same fashion and manner- direct, simple, short and sweet. For ease of reference, the 2 questions are repeated here. 1.Have you come the place yet where you can say for sure,if you were to die to-day that you would go to heaven that the Bible speaks of? 2.If you were to die to-day and God were to ask you, why should I let you into my heaven, what would you tell Him, what do you think you would say, what you know about the Bible? Yes, Time does not wait for man. Your answears are therefore urgently awaited, so that many children of God will learn from you in good time. Have a good time. FytRobert |
Bible Answer: Greetings FytRobert! In response to your two questions, I would say: 1) Absolutely! Rom. 10:9 - "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Rom. 10:13 - "for, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" 2) I would responsed: Titus 3:4 - "But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life." "Lord", "Not because of anything I have done, but because of what Christ has done for me, I should be allowed into Heaven!" Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
