Bible Question (short): Where does the Bible SAY that? |
Question (full): Country Girl: You ask: "what WAS to be accomplished and do away with the Law and the Prophets?" I ask you: Where in the Bible does it SAY that something (or anything) will do away with the Law and the Prophets? Jesus Himself said in Matthew 5:17 (ESV), "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them...". ("but to fulfill them". Obviously, fulfill does not mean abolish. If it did, then Jesus would have been saying, "I have not come to abolish, but to abolish.) Grace to you, kalos |
