Bible Answer: One concern I have about the book is at the bottom of page 58. It says, "I invite you to bow your head and quietly 'whisper' the prayer that will change your eternity". It goes on, "If you sincerely meant that prayer, congradulations! you're now a Christian". It seems like kind of an extremely weak conversion experience, especially in view of scripture that speaks of Counting the Cost to be a Disciple of Jesus and of true Repentance that leads to salvation. I've heard it called easy believism. Just an opinion. arrow1 |
