Subject: tribulation vs. wrath |
Bible Note: Greetings! I believe the tribulation that Jesus spoke about in this passage was NOT the TRIBULATION described in the book of The Revelation. Believers have suffered tribulation or troubles just as Jesus promised. This passage is still "pre-wrath." We are in tribulation this very day as we struggle against natural enemies and spiritual powers and authorities. Jesus comforts us by reminding us that HE has overcome the world - sin and death are defeated foes! Praise God! So although we still struggle, our Redeemer is at the door, just waiting for the Father's command to go get His Bride! We should all be looking up expectantly! This often helps in keeping the focus off our temporary trials or "tribulations!" I hope I have clarified my thinking on this for you!Blessings in Jesus!Mommapbs |
