Subject: explain God father son is one |
Bible Note: Hi Jimtheseeker and welcome to the forum. I like your explanation but it’s pretty hard to use it with the evidence that’s brought forth in Matthew. There are three distinct yet different exposures of God’s Triune personalities; they are together, and yet they are separate; The Father, The Son and The Spirit, are all represented in this next verse together at the same time. Matthew 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: [17] And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Not to be sarcastic, but did you ever try sitting next to yourself and remember also that Jesus prayed to the father? Luke 22:69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Enjoy the forum, CDBJ |
