Bible Note: [Rom 2:13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified] Read on and finish it: Romans 2:14-16 (NASB-U) For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, [15] in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, [16] on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. [Rom 3:10 as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;] Pertaining to what? Standing in the presence of God!? I agree. Who makes that possible but Jesus? Who did he come to set free, the living or the dead? Think about Him setting free the living AND the dead who died with the hope and in their righteousness while on on Earth, honoring God as their conscience dictated. [Based upon Paul's letter to the Romans, the people you are wondering about have never existed!] You mean based on someone's [I won't mention his name] interpretation of what he thought Paul was saying. Too bad he didn't have the sense to keep it in context with the rest of scripture. |
