Subject: The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost. |
Bible Note: Jesus, god with us, spoke of His Father as God, and spokeof the Holy Spirit as a separate person from Himself. the statement "Jesus was a glimpse of who God was but not the complete form of God as he was merely a man." directly denys the fact that Phil 2:6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, Phil 2:7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. that is BEING one with God. He always was and was not created because He ceated everything that is. Jesus is the Creator, not the created. He is God (John 1:1) |
