Bible Question: The NASB enters an alternate capitalization occasioning at the bottom of the page. Consider with me the three "in the Spirit" occurances of Rev 1:10, Rev 4:2, and Rev 21:10. How many of you would make this a small "s"? Also, how about Son of Man in Rev. 1:13? |
Bible Answer: Ray, at first blush I would have to say the first three Rev.1:10, 4:2, 21:10 should be small "s" However knowing the intent is to show that the Holy Spirit is leading or revealing to John’s spirit, I’m not sure the capitalized “s” is all that wrong. In reference to Rev 1:13 it should be capitalized as I believe this is a direct reference to Jesus. NKJV bears this out. |
