Subject: Where does this story come from? |
Bible Note: Edb: You are correct, "braking the leg" story has been a preachers story, and I have yet to find the source. I think a lamb with a broken leg would more than likely wind up as dinner. The extra work required to keep such a wounded sheep going would use more time than a shepherd could manage. I refered the person to the book to see how much a shepherd really does do, with no fiction added. I had a shepherd in one church I pastored. I learned much from the shepherd and the sheep as well. Goats are more independant and require less constant attention. They will come to others voices, and can turn on their caregiver. I think there is a message here. justme |
