Subject: Are we still under the Ten Commandments? |
Bible Note: Joe, thanks for continuing to 'tell it like it is.' This modern phenomenon you call 'easy believism' Dietrich Bonhoeffer called 'cheap grace.' All round the world people are being taught to mumble a mantra in order to 'get saved' and forthwith proceed to claim their promise: to put God to the test and 'force' Him to live up to His 'promise' to make them rich and famous. What false doctrine! It's more than merely watered-down Christianity; it's a total wash out. The cost of discipleship has always been dear. It has never been on sale at bargain-basement discount prices. Thus the brand of 'Christianity' that the charlatans are hawking is a cheap and disgraceful imitation of the real thing. --Hank |
