Subject: Raven, do you want ALL the Law? |
Bible Note: Well I guess I can't convience you that the Holy Spirit doesn't literally live in us. But if this true I just got one more question. Why do we have the inspired word of God if the Holy Spirit lives in us? It would seem to me that the Holy Spirit would guide us into all that is right thereby making the bible useless. John 14 25 "These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 16 13However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. Tell me has the Holy Spirit taught you "all things" has He guided you "into all truth"? And you ask how do I explain Jesus. I don't but the bible says, Matthew 1 Christ Born of Mary (1) 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with CHILD OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Isaiah 7 14Therefore the Lord Himself will GIVE YOU A SIGN: Behold, THE VIRGIN SHALL CONCEIVE and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. The last time I checked none of us including you were not born of a woman without the help of a man. Jesus was sent from God. The name Immanuel literally means God with us. Nobody can claim anything close to this today, not even the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. RAVEN |
