Bible Note: CDBJ, you came through with fine colors once again: what a grand job you have done in defining repentance in biblical terms, and providing at the same time an offsetting definition of what the world considers repentance to be. As you have ably shown, it's a great deal more than saying, like the little boy whose mother caught him with his hand in the cookie jar, "I'm sorry; I promise not to do it again."
