(NASB copyright 1995 Lockman Foundation) Which version says "Lamb's book of life"? There is a difference between the "book of life" and the "Lamb's book of life". We need to be careful not to add words to the Bible. The "book of life" is a registry of the deeds all humans have done in their life here on earth, both open and in secrete. The "Lamb's book of life" is a registry of all who have trusted in Jesus as their savior attaining eternal life and exemption from the judgement and wrath of God. Rev. 20:12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.
