Subject: meaning of Life |
Bible Note: Greetings Ray! It was a bit of a joke. :) "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is a comedy/fantasy/sci-fi novel in a series of novels written by Douglas Adams, who with his British wit has written a fascinating and light-hearted book that hardly makes any sense at all if you read it seriously! :) It was a great book to read and one that will keep you laughing.. One of the early jokes in it makes reference to keeping a towel handy during space-travel, since the earth itself is going to be pulverized to make way for a new galactic highway! You see, the earth is simply in the way, much like Arthur Dent's house.. :) In other words, Ray, its a good comedy that I recommend if you are into reading science fiction and things of that nature. But if you do decide to read it, then don't take it too seriously, my friend! :) So the meaning of Life is the number 42.. But of course, you only come to that conclusion after first visiting the Restaurant at the End of the Universe, which is another entertaining book in the Hitchhiker's series by Douglas Adams.. :) Enjoy!
