Bible Note: Greetings Doug! Great testimony! I love hearing about people coming to Christ. If you don't mind me asking, how old were you? I'm sorry I did not clarify my point about "being saved". The word is a Present, Passive, Indicative, 2nd, Plural verb. Which simply means, it can be translated as "You are being saved". As I pointed out to Bill, I'm not sure if there is any particular relevance to the present tense here as oppossed to an aorist. However, my main point was that the people in v. 1 are described as those who are or are being saved. This would not fit an unbeliever. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
