Bible Question: If Gen. 6:3 isn't life span. What's your perspective on when God changed our lifespan? Explain Gen. 5:32 ( Noah 500 yrs old, had three son's) and Gen. 7:6 ( Noah was 600 yrs old when flood waters came ). Thanks for any help offered. |
Bible Answer: There are no direct answers to your question, only speculation. This is one of those questions like who did Cain take for a wife. We are commanded not to argue over vain genealogies that onyl lead to endless disputes. As for your question though, the most accepted answer to it, with out Biblical proof, is this. Before the flood there had not been mention of any rain. There was no mention of bacteria, or the results of it till after the flood. Noah drank some nice grape juice that he had made. The only problem was it became what we call fermented from the bacteria that was now present all over the World due to the flood. The bacteria must have been isolated till that time. Hence the spread of germs and mans life span goes down. This problem will go away when Jesus set up His Kingdom on Earth during the 1000 year Millenium. As a result mans life span is said to go back up. Praise The Lord again!! CDBJ |
