Subject: How does eternal security build faith? |
Bible Note: I see God's wisdom in this scripture Hebrew 2:14-16 Froasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil; And deliver them that through FEAR(my caps) of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham. God's children can't live as children whe the fear of death hovers over them. Whe we recognize that we are free we can move forward and not be afraid that we will be sent to hell if we miss some 'ordinance'. We are to move forward in faith in His love, mercy and grace, growing up in Christ. Fear of eternal punishment NEVER promotes a loving relationship. It compels us at the point of salvation to choose... then we are children commanded to grow up in Christ by faith. God bless |
