NASB | Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 20:6 Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) and holy is the person who takes part in the first resurrection; over these the second death [which is eternal separation from God, the lake of fire] has no power or authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and they will reign with Him a thousand years. [Ex 19:6; 1 Pet 2:5, 9; Rev 1:6; 5:10] |
Bible Question: Which Muslims will live and which will die? Is it a lottery? The same question must be addressed for other "unbelievers" that will be spared. |
Bible Answer: This is not taking a chance like in a "lottery." Those who are "kept alive" are among the number who "do not seek to save themselves; but know they deserve to die." This will be humanity's last chance to "bow and beg for mercy and be kept alive" to enter the Millennial Kingdom. Otherwise, those who seek to save themselves will be "fed to the birds that are gathered together above." Luke 17:33-37. Mel at www.lastday.net |
