Bible Note: Hello WTB, I would rather state that redemption is according to the obedience of the redeemer, not the redeemed. The one for whom the price is paid is redeemed regardless of any obedience. There's no reason for me to push harder concerning any typology (or lack thereof) which might be present. One cannot be strictly literal in the verbage concerning defilement and virginity, but there can be debate as to where the line is drawn. Steve |
