Bible Question:
Rev 1:11 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. KJV There are 7 types of Churches in Revelation. 1)Ephesus 2)Smyrna 3)Pergamum 4)Thyatira 5)Sardis 6)Philadelphia 7)Laodicea I believe these Churches existed in the day John wrote Revelation and I also believe these Churches spiritually represent Churches of today. Ever compare to see which Church in Revelation is like the Church you attend today? Which one would you say is like yours and why? Bless you, Love Fountain |
Bible Answer: I believe that the 7 seven churches were literal churches with the specific characteristics at the time of the writings but are essentially a reference to the church ages and character in church history. Does anybody have the meanings of these church names and parallelogram of these churches and their relevent church age? |
