Bible Note: BradK , Yes Eph 1:17, also reference Matt 16:17 Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven. When GOD tells you something the debate is over period. And finally consider what the Bible tells us concerning prophecy in the verse below, I believe this scripture does not only refer to prophecy but to the entire Holy Spirit inspired Word of GOD as documented in the inerrant and infallible Holy Bible. 2 Pet 1:20[Yet] first [you must] understand this, that no prophecy of Scripture is [a matter] of any personal or private or special interpretation (loosening, solving). The opinions of men are meaningless - Pet 1:21 For no prophecy ever originated because some man willed it [to do so--it never came by human impulse], but men spoke from God who were borne along (moved and impelled) by the Holy Spirit. |
