Bible Question: I smoke but desperately want to stop. Is this a sin? |
Bible Answer: Lee-Roy, I suggest that you seek others who have been in your shoes, in your fellowship or church that you go to. Thank God that you desperately want to stop, this is the first step in quitting, and believe me God will be with you through each step of the way, until you are delivered from this addiction. My wife and I have been serving the Lord now for two years. My wife has been a smoker for over forty years! She kept pursuing the Lord and she has been delivered from that habit now for nine months, Praise God. God is not a respector of persons, He'll do it for you also, Keep walking in faith. God bless "That your faith may not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God" 1Corinthians2:5(KJV) |
