Bible Question: I smoke but desperately want to stop. Is this a sin? |
Bible Answer: Lee-Roy "They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves to sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you." 2 Peter 2:19 NLT My experience with smoking is that it "controls" you. Once it comes between you and the Lord it certainly is a sin. I smoked for many years but when I finally asked the Lord to help me quit... and really meant it... He came through. Try Him! |
