Bible Note: Hi, Janae! I did not mean to infer that you were going off topic--I meant that I was side-stepping the thread in order to query you about your name... From the Scriptural passages you cited I can see that the Holy Spirit has enabled you to understand that through Love Jesus can conquer your friend's errors... Many times Satan uses or pride to blind us to the Truth (Christ) and he uses our errors to blind the brethren that could assist us in returning to the Fold... yet when we obey God, Scripture convicts us of the Truth and allow us to bring the lost sheep back: Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. (1 Peter 3:8-9) Our love for God must burn in our hearts as well as our compasion for those who fail Him: it is God's love, through us that can rescue humanity! God Bless! Angel |
