Bible Note: Hi, Angel. My full maiden name is Janae DeLair, and it is French-Canadian. Thank you for asking. In regard to the topic, the Lord brought to mind the scripture about the tares: Matthew 13:30: Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn." And also, last night, He gave me this scripture: Colossians 3:12-15: "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful." So, it is up to God to do the pruning. My job is to love my brother. Thank you for your insightful reply. I am sorry my post was off topic. I was hoping to get some insight from some very learned Christians. Love in Christ, Janae. |
