Subject: Will you pray with me? |
Bible Note: Dear Sunny, I do not mean to be harsh. Indeed, I grieve with you over what has occured. Regardless of the root causes of your son's choices, your only course is to seek the Lord in repentance in your own life. That cannot be done all by yourself. You need a church in which to grow. No believer thrives outsie of a congregation of fellow believers. Indeed, one of the evidences of being a beliver is your love of the brethren. Furthermore, your son's choices are not a matter of weak faith. We are not sinners because we sin, we sin because we are sinners. It is extremely likely that your son is not saved (1 Cor 6:9). Don't pray that he'd give up his sin, pray instead for his salvation! The only hope for you, your son, and the rest of your family is for you to heed the call of the Lord Jesus Christ, to submit fully to Him in every area of your life. In Him, Doc |
