Bible Question: hello im just wondering about the book of Genesis chapter 22:12 this is when Isaac was about to be offered as a sacrifice. I know that GOD is omnicient GOD and He knows all things but this verse im kind of confuse if anyone can help me out on the verse because the Lord said on this that "NOW I KNOW" this tells me that at one point He doesnt know what we are going to do? If anyone can help out? |
Bible Answer: Maybe a bad translation of words from the languages. But in the literal sense, I believe God just wanted Abraham to prove himself to God. God knew of Abraham's faith and love and this was the ultimate sacrifice. Of course he didn't ACTUALLY let him go through with it. God did it FOR REAL however. |
